I interviewed Mr. Scallen for the film. He was gracious to give me an interview and I was charmed by his role in history. When interviews are not used it doesn’t mean that the person wasn’t an amazing character. Tom Scallen was an amazing character. So sometimes a person’s interview is not included because that person wasn’t dramatic. Tom Scallen was dramatic. So I hope to return to the material to pull some quotes in order to pay homage to this giant in the history of figure skating.
